Billy Talent is, quite possibly, the greatest band ever... at least in my eyes. When I first discovered them, I was at a crossroads over the music that I listened to. I was tired of listening to most of the bands that were coming out in the USA, and wanted something new to listen to. Billy Talent has provided that, and much more.
When I first discovered them, I never expect to be as big of a fan as I am now. I've nearly worn out both cds from playing them so much. It started with just the music, and then I wanted to know more about the guys and their history. That's when I ventured online and realized that there was so much more to them than just the music. Anyone can write lyrics, but to right great lyrics takes talent, no pun intended. The band's lyrics are understandable, yet vague at the same time, and they really stand out. Also, most people probably wouldn't be into all the yelling that Ben does, but I think that's what sets them apart from all of the other bands out there; it makes them unique. Besides. Ben freakin' rocks. They all do. :P
I can see myself staying a fan for a long time, and I just hope that they continue to bring out their kick ass music!
